Baby Sasha was abandoned in a Bar in Arusha. The bartender said that Sasha’s mother excused herself to the bartender, saying she needed to go to a nearby shop to purchase something. She never returned! The bartender called the police, and the police called social welfare. The baby had been taken to a hospital to be examined. In the baby’s bag was found her clinic card, showing her name to be Sasha, who was born October 17, 2018. Social welfare called Neema Village to take Sasha on November 23. She is a beautiful, healthy baby, weighing 5.08 kg (11 lbs.)
It is sad that a mother would abandon this beautiful baby, and of course we cry and pray for the mother and for Sasha. We hope that someday soon someone will adopt her and she will have a forever family. In the meantime, we need someone to sponsor Sasha.
Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes.
